Flights Bologna to Lampedusa
Little Lampedusa is very well connected to the major Italian airports and, from these, to the wide international network.
The companies' summer timetables, which are usually effective from the last weekend of March to the last weekend of October, are rich with many direct flights to Lampedusa. These depart especially from Milan and Rome but also from Verona and Venice. The flight from Bologna is very appealing thanks to its easy to reach central location.
The Guglielmo Marconi airport is one of the major Italian stopovers: in 2010 five million passengers have transited there. In 2009 it won the Aci Europe Best Airport Award for airport administration and for the dealing with acoustic pollution and thus is one of the few airports that can feature procedural and environmental quality certificates.
A very comfortable and uncongested airport, close to an important junction of the Italian high-speed train network, it is certainly a great springboard from which to fly to Lampedusa's blue sky.
